The #Schlegeis131 Dam is a great attraction with lots to experience - not only for adults, but also for families with children. Scale the new children's via ferrata or the children's climbing route together with your kids. Like the via ferrata, the course and routes take you along the wall but are located on the edge of the dam. This makes them somewhat shorter and easier than the normal via ferrata. The children's via ferrata and climbing routes are very easy, making them suitable for children from 5 years who are adventurous and not afraid of heights. A Family Day Out to the Children's Via Ferrata
We have developed a children's climbing attraction specially for adventurous kids that is guaranteed to provide plenty of fun. The children's via ferrata is ideal for kids who have never climbed before, but also for young boys and girls who already have some experience.
In addition to the children's via ferrata there are 3 easy climbing routes where your children can get a real feeling for climbing. Safety ropes and other safety features have been put in place for this.
If you don't have your own equipment, you can hire this at the snack bar (s'Raschtl) located on the top of the dam. We only offer new & high quality items that are regularly checked.
IMPORTANT:
Use of the children's via ferrata and children's climbing routes is only permitted when accompanied by an adult!
Sport Climbing Routes for Children
The 3 children's climbing routes on the edge of the Schlegeis Dam are an ideal introduction to the adventures of climbing. Kids will get an incredible feeling of freedom as they climb the wall of the dam, whilst being safely secured.
Sport climbing requires some previous via ferrata experience.

Due to the high altitude, good weather is a prerequisite.
It is important that you have a good head for heights and good physical awareness.
